Founded in Paris: 1990. Founded in Buenos Aires: 2000.

Contempora is a project of Claudia Edreira-Barreda and associates to internationally promote and present artists who work in various media, and who offer a vision of contemporary society from a narrative, metaphorical, and symbolic perspective.

Since 1990 Contempora has been advising individuals and international companies in their contemporary art acquisitions. In 2000, Contempora opened a gallery in Buenos Aires.

The associate director in Buenos Aires, Mrs. Adriana Barreda, works in collaboration with the founder/associate Claudia Edreira-Barreda who is based in the Paris office. Mrs. Barreda's expertise is photography and native indigenous cultures (she has published two books, "Images of a Forgotten Nation" , and "Imagenes de Las Alturas".

Contempora, which has already participated in Art Chicago, Art Miami, San Francisco International Art Exhibition, Art Palm Beach, and off Bienal in Venice, will continue to participate in International art fairs in the U.S. and now in Europe.
