Candida Romero
Born in Paris to artist parents, she spent her childhood at La Ruche (a Parisian artist's community). The young Franco-Puerto-Rican self-taught artist studied at the "Ecole des enfants du spectacle". She continued her studies in Munich, where she spent some years training in classical voice and opera at the Musik Hochschule. This is the time when she began drawing. Six months later she created her first paintings. Later Candida lived in Berlin, back in France she is a full-time painter, going back to her roots.
